1.Analysis Phase Advice & Guidance

You’ve contacted us with an interest to set up in self-storage, you may not even have a building yet but that’s ok. Sometimes many preliminary conversations are required whilst we get to know each other and you ask as many questions as you need regarding market research, choosing a location, suitable buildings, construction work, phasing etc before you are even ready for layout ideas and costs. We will be connecting with your ideas and desires, perhaps offering guidance in terms of your general business plan and phasing too. Remember it doesn’t matter if your requirement is smaller in size at 5,000 sq ft or less, your self-storage vision is still important to you and something we can help you to achieve. 2.Site Meeting & Survey

Once a site visit date has been established we like to come and meet you and walk the building with you too if you’d like. A detailed survey is then taken with precision laser measuring equipment to ascertain the suitability for self-storage; including current building layout, size, accessibility, obstructions and conditions. Also existing utility services and how they could potentially impact on construction works will all be noted in terms of their position. This is also a good time for us to listen to your thoughts and ideas whilst they evolve "in situ,” through discussion so we get a real feel for what you want, offering our advice and guidance in response. We can then go away, not only with greater knowledge of the building, but also how you would like to approach your self-storage vision.
3.Planning & Design

The space surveyed is scrutinised in detail from all angles so we can plan, optimise and design a layout that will maximise your profitability whilst also taking into account what you want to achieve wherever possible, whilst measuring this against the constraints of the building. Phases will be incorporated in the plan for larger buildings to support cash flow. A single or multi-tier mezzanine floor can be added at the design stage making use of the available height and enable you to visualise future phases more clearly.
